Business and Research Cooperation Forum “CREATING VALUE”

On 25 September, the business and research cooperation forum “CREATING VALUE” will take place in Valmiera, at Vidzeme University of Applied Sciences, bringing together current and future entrepreneurs, researchers and young people to find inspiration, gain an understanding of business and research cooperation opportunities, and the development of high value-added products. Registration is open until 17 September.

The forum “CREATING VALUE” will take place at Vidzeme University of Applied Sciences for the second time. Last year, it brought together more than 150 participants. This year, the forum will highlight the need for and opportunities to create high value-added products. From 10.00 to 15.00, participants will have the opportunity not only to hear experience stories and practical advice, but also to take part in workshops themselves, develop their ideas and build new cooperation.

The forum will offer concrete examples of how:

• to identify and test business ideas in practice,
• to use research and technologies in product development,
• to build teams and develop a company from idea to market,
• to strengthen competitiveness through data and brand strategy,

• to protect intellectual property and plan product costs.
