About event

Doctoral students and young scientists of the University of Latvia (LU) are invited to participate in Co-Writing Sessions to simultaneously work on their scientific publications online.

The Co-Writing Session is an online meeting for doctoral students and young scientists for two hours. At the beginning of the session, it is planned that each participant sets a goal for themselves, which they intend to accomplish in the process of preparing their scientific publication during the specific meeting. This is followed by two writing sessions, each 45 minutes long, with a short five-minute break. At the end of the session, the participants will share what they have accomplished and the next steps in preparing a scientific publication.

Every doctoral student or young scientist of the University of Latvia, regardless of the field of science represented, is invited to participate in the session. The session will be led by the leading expert of the LU Doctoral School, Dr. geogr. Gunta Kalvāne.
