Conference "Q-Ready 25: Quantum Security Horizons"

About event
On October 31, the University of Latvia Institute of Mathematics and Informatics will host the conference “Q-Ready 25: Quantum-Safe Horizons”.
The central topic of the conference will be the protection of communication against potential quantum computer attacks. Topics such as quantum key distribution (QKD) and quantum secure (post-quantum) cryptography (PQC) will be discussed. Special attention will be given to the development of quantum-secure infrastructure within the framework of the EuroQCI initiative. Representatives of the EuroQCI projects of the Baltic Sea region will present their results. Representatives of QKD equipment manufacturers have also confirmed their participation in the conference.
The working language of the conference is English.
On October 30, training will be held on the technologies used in quantum-secure communication. The following technologies will be discussed: quantum secure (post-quantum) cryptography (PQC), quantum key distribution (QKD) and quantum random number generation (QRNG). The training will be led by LUMII researchers.
