About event
On 14 October, Food Frontiers 2026 will bring together founders, researchers, investors and food-industry leaders in Riga to explore emerging technologies shaping the future of food and agriculture.
The event will showcase innovation from the Baltics, Poland and the Nordic region, spanning food biotechnology, fermentation, agritech, novel ingredients, circular solutions and advanced agricultural technologies.
The programme combines fireside discussions, startup and research showcases, investor feedback and curated matchmaking, creating opportunities to connect promising technologies with investors, industry partners and future collaborators. Investor guests include Nordic Foodtech VC and FoodLabs.

The event is co-organised by Biocatalyst Foundation and Riga Technical University, with support from EIT Food, Riga Investment Agency and Latvian Food Cluster, and is co-funded by the European Union.
