Informative Webinar on the European Translational Medicine Infrastructure EATRIS-ERIC
About event
Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) invites researchers, students, and healthcare professionals to participate in an informative webinar on the European translational medicine research infrastructure EATRIS-ERIC on Thursday, 11 December, from 15:00 to 16:30.
EATRIS-ERIC is a European research infrastructure that facilitates the transfer of knowledge generated in laboratories into clinical practice. It supports the development of innovative therapies, diagnostic methods, vaccines, and medical technologies by providing access to high-quality scientific expertise, technological resources, data platforms, and regulatory guidance. Since 2023, Latvia has been a full member of EATRIS, with RSU serving as the national coordinator.
The webinar will be led by Dr. med. Zaiga Nora-Krūkle, National Node Coordinator for EATRIS Latvia and Director of the RSU Institute of Microbiology and Virology. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about the services and possibilities offered by the infrastructure, and how EATRIS support can assist their work.
During the event, participants will be able to ask questions, gain practical information, and explore opportunities to engage with the EATRIS network.
The webinar is organised within the project RSU Participation in the Horizon Europe Programme (No. 1.1.1.5/3/25/I/014), implementing Latvia’s ERIC partnership and action plan and promoting the integration of national institutions into Europe’s strategic research infrastructures.
