Introducing the Study: Health Economics Barometer 2025

Online event
About event

The study reveals in a consolidated way how healthcare system funding and service accessibility impact Latvia's economic development and public well-being. The Barometer is based on data and analysis, providing a clear overview of the sector's challenges and potential directions for strategic investments.

The aim of the study is to draw the attention of the public and decision-makers to healthcare financing issues, as well as to identify possible directions for strategic investments.

The study was developed by the analytics and management group PowerHouse Latvia in cooperation with the Faculty of Social Sciences of Rīga Stradiņš University, the Latvian Junior Doctors’ Association, the Latvian Patient Organisation Network, and the WifOR Institute. The study is supported by the Association of International Research-Based Pharmaceutical Manufacturers (SIFFA) and the European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations (EFPIA).
