We invite you to attend the closing event of the project “Support for the Institutional Implementation of a New Academic Career Framework in Latvia.” The project is carried out by the OECD Higher Education Policy Team in collaboration with the European Commission and the Ministry of Education and Science of Latvia, and is funded by the European Union Technical Assistance Instrument (TAI). The event will provide an opportunity to review the progress made in implementing academic career reform in Latvia. Representatives from the OECD and the European Commission will present the TAI project’s findings and results, as well as the roadmap for the further implementation of academic career reform, developed in close cooperation with project partners. Representatives from the Ministry of Education and Science of Latvia and higher education institutions will share current updates on the implementation of academic career, including doctoral education, reforms, and will discuss experiences and next steps.
