Seminar “Metagenomics and Metabolic Modelling in Clinical Microbiome Studies”

About event

NIRI and KLS Baltic Alliance are organising the seminar “Metagenomics and Metabolic Modelling in Clinical Microbiome Studies”

This two-day seminar is dedicated to bioinformatics approaches in human microbiome research, combining metagenomic data processing and metabolic modelling. Participants will gain practical experience with modern metagenomic analysis methods, data preprocessing workflows and standardised reporting practices, as well as learn about the application of metabolic modelling to the functional analysis of microbiome data. The seminar is organised within the framework of cooperation between the National Research and Innovation Institute and Kiel University, with the aim of developing joint analytical methodologies, promoting knowledge exchange and strengthening future cooperation in clinical microbiome research.

Prior experience in scientific programming is desirable!
