"Supercomputer Breakfast": How to Attract European Funding and Harness HPC Power

The Latvian HPC (High-Performance Computing) Competence Centre “SuperS” invites entrepreneurs to a morning seminar, “Supercomputer Breakfast”, on 28 November from 9:00 to 10:30 at the University of Latvia House of Science, Jelgavas Street 3, Riga.

While enjoying coffee and snacks, participants will explore opportunities to use supercomputing power and artificial intelligence (AI) tools in company and organisational projects.

The seminar aims to provide a practical overview of how HPC infrastructure and the European AI Factory network can help to:

  • reduce costs and risks in innovative product development,
  • accelerate modelling, analysis, and automation processes,
  • gain access to European supercomputing resources and support programmes.

Key highlights of the programme:

  • Current developments in the field of supercomputing and available project funding.
  • The process of developing AI solutions and practical examples.
  • Resources offered by the “AI Factory Antenna – Latvia (AIFA-LAT)”.

According to Kārlis Muižnieks, Collaboration Project Manager of the Latvian HPC Competence Centre: "Supercomputers are no longer just a tool for scientists – they are also available to entrepreneurs to speed up new product development, foster innovation, and reduce costs. In this seminar, we’ll show how to start using supercomputers in practice and how to implement AI solutions, as well as how to attract European funding to turn ideas into competitive products."

You can join the "Supercomputer Breakfast" both onsite and online. The event is free of charge, but prior registration is required: https://bit.ly/Superdatoru_brokastis. More information: https://eurocc-latvia.lv/superdatoru-brokastis-uznemejiem-28-novembri/ or info@eurocc-latvia.lv.
