The Institute of Agricultural Resources and Economics (AREI) is a major bioeconomy research and leading field crop breeding institute with over 100 years of history.
Research areas and competencies AREI scientists carry out field crop variety breeding, research into various field crop growing technologies, conduct research on field crop quality and sustainable rural development, as well as economic analysis in the agricultural, food production and fisheries sectors.
