INSTRUCT-ERIC hosts guests from Estonia
September 30, 2025
On 24 September 2025, the Latvian Biomedical Research and Study Centre (BMC) welcomed researcher Kristiina Vind from the University of Tartu, together with her Latvian-origin PhD student Normunds Bērziņš. During a joint seminar with BMC’s Structural Biology Group scientists, the discussions focused on various bacteriophage-related studies and their virus-like particles. The Estonian colleagues were also introduced to the opportunities provided by INSTRUCT-ERIC in the field of cryo-electron microscopy, which both researchers showed great interest in. Further collaboration opportunities in structural biology were also explored.
