The Institute of Electronics and Computer Science is a leading research centre in Latvia that develops solutions in artificial intelligence, electronics, robotics, sensors, and smart systems for the needs of society and industry.

• Presentation and demonstration of an AI-based conveyor robotics system
• Task involving calculation of resistor resistance

  • Hyperspectral camera and remote sensing – an opportunity to see a drone and try an interactive game
  • How do future energy systems work? Demonstration of models and simulations

  • Artificial intelligence solutions for forecasting cloud and sky conditions
    • Demonstration of the project “Ultrasound Measurement System for Bone and Muscle Characterisation (BoMUS-2)” within the long-term State Research Programme “Biomedical and Photonics Research Platform for the Development of Innovative Products (BioPhoT)”
    • Opportunity for event participants to colour and draw images related to EDI’s fields of activity
    • Tour of the robotics laboratory, taking place every hour (at 17:30, 18:30 and 19:30)

The Institute conducts fundamental and applied research in the following areas: ultra-precise event timing, remote sensing and space data processing, robotics and machine perception, signal processing and embedded intelligence, smart sensors, and the Internet of Things (IoT).
