About event
The Institute of Horticulture is the leading fruit and vegetable research centre in Latvia, which not only engages in the breeding and introduction of plant species suitable for Baltic agroclimatic conditions, but also produces high-nutritional-value, fibre-rich food products from crops grown in the institute’s gardens.

How to get there: Residents of Dobele can arrive on foot or by private transport; visitors from the surrounding area can arrive by private transport or public transport, if available on the specific route and during the relevant time period.

Event language: Latvian. Where possible, depending on visitor flow/workload at the specific time, colleagues may provide explanations in English during the activities.
Maximum number of visitors at one time: There are no specific restrictions. When registering groups, a preferred time will be recommended and agreed upon if several groups are expected to overlap at the same time.
