How animals migrate and navigate

Animal migration studies - methods of research on bird, bat and insect migrations - observation (including under floodlights), bat observation with an ultrasonic detector, bird trapping and ringing, insect trapping and research with the stable isotope method. Detection of animal flights on radar.
