Allowing young and old to discover the engineer gene and the magic of science, RTU will offer a wide range of activities for those interested in artificial intelligence, robotics, drones, electronics and computers, as well as for those who want to learn everything related to

• drinking water,
• building, bridges, road construction,
• going out into the open seas,
• building formulae for speed competitions,
• energy efficiency, smart homes,
• artificial bones and other innovative biomaterials,
• various substances and
• the course of chemical processes in real life.

The activities will be adapted to the interests and opportunities for involvement of different audiences – RTU will open its doors to children and young people, families with children, and industry representatives.

Scientists' Night visitors will be able to meet scientists, ask them all the questions they are interested in, and visit laboratories, as well as get to know engineering sciences and professions that are important both today and in the future. Visitors will be able to test various skills in simulators, participate in activities featuring artificial and augmented reality, and engage in robot battles and multiple games. They can also attend practical workshops where they can build, program, prototype, control, solder, measure, create textile and wooden products, and more.

A chemistry experiment and scientific snacks will provide a special pleasure.

-- For the first time, the RTU Riga Business School will participate in the Night of Scientists.

The RTU Curiosity Centre «Futurimo Rīga», Meža Street 6, k1, will also participate in the Night of Scientists.

You can also explore science in Liepāja and Rēzekne, participating in the exciting activities of the RTU Liepāja and RTU Rēzekne Academies.

NB! Student groups will be accepted for the day program at the RTU Faculty of Engineering, Economics and Management, Kalnciema Street 6. Visiting hours are from 12:00 to 15:00.
