For the first time since joining the RTU science and study ecosystem, RTU Rezekne Academy is participating in the Scientists' Night with an extensive program for children, young people, teachers, parents, entrepreneurs and other interested parties.

Activities in the Central Building

• Glass terrace on the 2nd floor. Scientific talks: 18.30–19.00, Engineer's gene, 19.30–20.00, Entrepreneur's gene, 20.30–21.00, Educator's gene
• Room 217 18.30–20.30 Interactive lesson "Fact checking laboratory"
• Room 112 18.30–21.00 Demonstration "Warm sand therapy" Activity intended for teachers and other interested parties
• Room 127 18.30–21.00 Social experiment "Look and listen versus see and hear" High school students, 10–14 participants in one group at a time. Two groups will be accepted
• Room 218 18.30–21.00 "Be in balance"
• Room 215 Demonstration "Secrets of rapeseed oil" The activity will be organised three times: at 18.30–19.00; 19.30–20.00; 20.30–21.00
• Room 126 19.00–20.00 Climate info-game For visitors from 11 years of age
• Room 216 19.00–20.30 Interactive game "Artificial intelligence for everyone" Intended for families with children, students, teachers, and entrepreneurs. The activity will be organised twice: at 19.00–19.30, 20.00–20.30

Activities in the Engineering Centre

• Room 130 18.30– 20.20 Digital game «Language Hacker» Intended for 8th–9th grade students, high school students, adults. Will be held three times: at 18.30–19.00; 19.10–19.40; 19.50–20.20
• Library 18.30–21.00 Escape game "Labyrinth of Library Mysteries"
• Room 111 Workshop for preschool children together with parents, "World of Wonders" For 5–6 families at a time. The activity will be organised twice
• 19.00–21.00 Excursions to the Faculty of Engineering. The activity will be organised at 19.00–20.00; 20.00–21.00

Laser Technology Centre

• 18.30–20.30 Demonstrations "Industrial Laser Technologies" The activity will be held at 18.30–19.30; 19.30–20.30

• 21.00–22.00 Closing show with surprises

From the bus station "Rēzekne" by Rēzeknes satiksme route 21 minibus (Vipinga-Blaumaņa street) to the stop 18. Novembra Street. From the railway passenger station "Rēzekne - 2" - 10 min walk.

• Accessibility of the environment: It is possible to enter independently with a wheelchair, there is a ramp, the doors are not automatic, but the staff will be happy to help you enter the building, there is an elevator, it is possible to move around the premises with a wheelchair, it is allowed to come with a guide dog.
