University of Daugavpils

This evening, Daugavpils University will transform into a centre for scientific discoveries and creativity with a wide and exciting program - interactive workshops, experiments, games, quizzes, concerts and excursions. Visitors will be able to enjoy activities for all age groups - from children and young people to curious adults, allowing everyone to try out the steps of a researcher and inventor, test their knowledge and discover the hitherto unknown.

Highlights of the program:

• Science games and quizzes for children, young people and adults.
• Creative workshops: making bookmarks, pixel art, chemistry experiments and discovering the secrets of DNA.
• Exciting discoveries in biology, genetics, physics and environmental sciences - from the secrets of insects and seeds to the fluorescent microworld.
• An opportunity to get acquainted with the work of security services - the professions of police officers, firefighters and national guardsmen.

The event will provide an opportunity to explore science in its various forms – from exciting experiments in laboratories and mysteries about our bodies, to exploring nature on expeditions and interactive games.

NB! Student groups can also participate in the event; the number of visitors is not limited.
