International Conference on Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence FedCSIS

About event

From 23 to 26 August, the international scientific conference FedCSIS 2026 – Conference on Computer Science and Intelligence Systems – will be held for the first time in Latvia at Riga Technical University (RTU), with particular attention devoted to artificial intelligence, data analysis, software and systems engineering, modelling, information systems, and other fields of digital technologies.

FedCSIS is an international conference on computer science and artificial intelligence supported by the IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) and its local sections. The conference organizer in Latvia is the Institute of Information Technology of the Faculty of Computer Science, Information Technology and Energy (DITEF) at RTU.

The conference brings together around 150 scientists, researchers, and industry experts from various fields of computer science and information technology from countries around the world.

Over the course of four days, RTU DITEF, at 8 Zunda krastmala, will host scientific research presentations, thematic sessions, discussions, and plenary lectures on a wide range of contemporary research topics in computer science and information technology, providing representatives of the international academic community with an opportunity to exchange the latest research results and experience, as well as establish new cooperation contacts.

Hosting FedCSIS 2026 at RTU demonstrates the university’s active involvement in the international computer science and information technology research community. Welcoming an international scientific community to Riga also provides an opportunity to introduce foreign colleagues to RTU’s research environment, strengthen existing cooperation, and establish new contacts with universities and research organizations in other countries.

More information about the conference is available on the FedCSIS 2026 website.

IEEE is the world’s largest professional organization bringing together specialists, researchers, and students in electrical engineering, electronics, information technology, computer science, and related fields.
