About event
Since 1997, Daugavpils University has published the collection of articles “History: Sources and People” to provide a wide range of historical studies by researchers from Latvia and abroad. There are no thematic, chronological, geographic, or other restrictions, but issues related to the regional development of Latgale and Sēlija in a historical perspective are especially welcome. The collection of articles is mainly based on research papers prepared by the participants of the annual conference.
The aim of the international scientific conference “History: Sources and People” is to bring together history researchers and present the results of their investigations. Interdisciplinary papers with the focus on historical sources are also welcome.
