Science Café: “What Scientists Don’t Tell You”

This year, the University of Latvia is once again participating in the conversation festival LAMPA with a special programme, Aurora Nexus FM. This discussion is part of the programme, which over two days invites the public to conversations about science, society and the future – in a clear, human and engaging way.

11 July | 15:00–16:00 AURORA NEXUS FM / Radio NABA studio

How is science actually made, and what do we talk about far too little in the public space?

In the Science Café, we will speak openly about the everyday reality of science – ethics, failures, doubts and the challenges researchers face across different fields. We will also discuss society’s perceptions of science, trust in research, and why open conversations about the scientific process are essential in a democratic society.
