For the sixth consecutive year, the Faculty of Social Sciences at Rīga Stradiņš University is organising the Scientific and Practical Conference on Medical Law, bringing together experts, academics and practitioners from healthcare, law and public administration.
This year’s conference programme includes several topical issues in medical law: the use of patient data, human rights in healthcare, the criminal and disciplinary liability of medical practitioners, current developments concerning the Medical Treatment Risk Fund, the legal aspects of psychiatric care, corruption risks in medicine, and other matters.
