This call will fund doctoral programmes implemented by international partnerships of organisations from various sectors (including universities, research centres and infrastructures, companies, SMEs, the public sector, NGOs, museums, etc.) across Europe and beyond.

In addition to the standard doctoral competition, the Commission provides specific incentives for the establishment of industrial doctorates, which train researchers and develop their skills outside academia, in particular in industry, business, the public sector, and joint doctoral networks, which offer integrated training programmes leading to joint or multiple doctorates.

The total budget of the competition is €597.80 million.

More information about the competition can be found at the information day organised by the European Commission on 24 June.
