Latvian Sports Pedagogy Academy of Riga Stradiņš University (RSU LSPA) is a leading institution of higher education in Latvia, specializing in sports and health education and research. With more than 103 years of experience, RSU LSPA offers high-quality study programs that combine theoretical knowledge with practical experience to prepare future sports and healthcare professionals, sports pedagogues, as well as national defense education teachers. With the aim of creating a unified health and sports science ecosystem, which will ensure high-quality, internationally competitive, research-based higher education and good governance, by the decision of the Ministry of Education and Science, the Latvian Sports Pedagogy Academy (LSPA) was integrated into Riga Stradiņš University on July 1, 2024 ( RSU) as its structural unit RSU LSPA, preserving identity as well as academic and scientific freedom.
