Applications will be accepted until the funding for the support program is exhausted. The total available funding is EUR 1,500,000.

The support is intended for companies registered in Latvia (science-intensive start-ups) to commercialize research results developed in scientific institutions, while ensuring the continuity of technology transfer (de minimis support).

Micro, small and medium-sized commercial entities, small and medium-sized capitalization companies, as well as medium-sized capitalization companies and large commercial entities will be eligible to apply for support, provided that they cooperate with micro (micro), small or medium-sized enterprises in research and innovation activities.

To learn more about the support program for science-intensive start-ups, LIAA invites Latvian businesses to an online seminar, which will take place on September 25 at 2:00 p.m. The link to connect is available here.

If you are unable to connect to the seminar, a recording of the seminar will be available here.

More information about the conditions for receiving support and how to apply is available on the state platform for business development business.gov.lv.
