In order to implement what is specified in the Cabinet Order, it is planned to implement one project with a total funding of 576,600.00 euros (five hundred seventy‑six thousand six hundred euros and 00 cents) and with the following tasks:

  1. to develop scientifically based proposals for the optimal spatial connectivity (connectivity) of species and habitats of European Union importance, integrating specially protected nature areas, micro‑reserves, and habitats and species habitats located outside the protected nature area network into a unified network of natural territories;
  2. to ensure research on habitat dynamics influenced by different management methods and climate variability, to assess ecosystem services and values in order to determine priorities for planning conservation measures, taking into account cost‑effectiveness, as well as to develop and pilot an economic model for biodiversity sustainability, nature conservation, and restoration (to create a catalogue of compensatory measures and to assess the extent of impact mitigation and compensatory measures).

The project implementation period is 27 months, starting from the date the project implementation agreement enters into force. The deadline for submitting project applications is July 23, 2026.
