Environmental and Climate Technologies Conference “CONECT 2026”

About event

From 12–15 May, the nineteenth annual scientific Environmental and Climate Technologies Conference “CONECT 2026” will take place at the RTU Auditorium Centre “Domus Auditorialis”, 8 Zunda Embankment, Riga.

The main aim of the conference is to introduce researchers to the latest achievements in the fields of energy systems and environmental engineering, as well as to provide scientists, particularly doctoral students, with the opportunity to publish their research results.

Each year, “CONECT” brings together around 200 scientists and researchers from more than 25 countries.

The main topics of this year’s conference include:

  • bioresources;
  • biotechnologies;
  • climate communication;
  • district heating;
  • energy efficiency;
  • environmental and energy policy frameworks;
  • low-CO₂ development and bioeconomy;
  • renewable energy technologies;
  • sustainability and resilience.

Conference papers are published in the open access journal “Environmental and Climate Technologies” and indexed in the Scopus and Web of Science databases. Selected papers are recommended for extended submission to other journals and are also indexed in Scopus.

The organisers invite researchers to take the opportunity to participate in the conference by submitting their work:

  • abstracts by 3 February;
  • full papers by 17 March;
  • posters by 14 April;
  • presentations by 11 May.

Early-bird registration is available until 31 March. After that, registration will continue at the standard fee until 1 May. Apply for participation.
