Information Day – ESERO Latvia
About event
The Ministry of Education and Science invites representatives of organisations from the education, science, and technology sectors to participate in the European Space Agency (ESA) ESERO (European Space Education Resource Office) Information Day on 4 February, to be held at the Ministry of Education and Science.
The event aims to introduce the ESERO programme, its opportunities in Latvia, and to discuss the potential role of an ESERO implementing organisation, possible cooperation formats, and the benefits for the education system, teachers, and students. Could your organisation become the ESERO project implementer in Latvia?
During the Information Day, participants will:
- learn what ESERO is and how it operates in other ESA Member States,
- explore opportunities for integrating space-related topics into STEM education,
- discuss institutional cooperation and next steps for implementing ESERO in Latvia.
Organisations are invited to participate if they:
- work in the fields of education, STEM, innovation, or space,
- are interested in supporting teachers’ professional development,
- see a potential role for themselves in implementing or supporting ESERO in Latvia.
Your participation is essential to building a sustainable and coordinated approach to space education in Latvia!
- Date: 04 February 2026
- Location: Ministry of Education and Science. Large hall 2nd floor.
