Latvian Academy of Culture Travelling Exhibition "Research Latvia 2025"

About event

Throughout the year, the traveling exhibition "Research Latvia 2025", organized by the Ministry of Education and Science, will be showcased at higher education institutions as well as other public and cultural venues across Latvia.

Complementing each other, the calendar “Research Latvia 2025” brings together 12 leading scientific institutions in Latvia. Their outstanding research achievements confirm the significant role of our country both in the European Research Area and in the global scientific arena. In October, the contribution of the Latvian Academy of Culture to research and its importance in the development of science are particularly highlighted.

"Studying various cultural and artistic processes enables me to understand the overall framework in which these activities occur. At the same time, it allows me to observe micro developments and their effects on society as a whole," notes Ph. D. Baiba Tjarve, Latvian Academy of Culture Deputy Head and Lead Researcher at the Institute of Arts and Cultural Studies.

By scanning QR codes, visitors can watch 12 video stories featuring the researchers via "researchLatvia" YouTube channel.

The science calendar and travelling exhibition is prepared within the project No. 1.1.1.1/1/24/I/001 “More Efficient Implementation and Management of Latvia's Science Policy”.

Developers: SIA “Entuziasti Digital” creative team, including Mārtiņš Pavasaris, video director Kristaps Mozgirs, and photographer Mārtiņš Goldbergs.
