Travelling Exhibition “Science for Latvia 2026” at the Institute of Horticulture
About event
Throughout the year, the travelling exhibition “Science for Latvia 2026”, created by the Ministry of Education and Science (MES), will be on display at national scientific institutes, as well as at other public and cultural venues throughout Latvia.
In July, the travelling exhibition highlights the work of the Institute of Horticulture and the contribution of its researchers, emphasising the institute’s importance in Latvia’s research landscape. The exhibition will be on display at the Institute of Horticulture from 3 to 29 July.
“I believe that almost anything is possible — as long as we seek solutions with an open mind. A truly significant discovery is one that helps people and protects the world,” emphasises Dr. agr. Līga Lepse, Chair of the Scientific Council of the Institute of Horticulture and Leading Researcher at the Department of Agrotechnical Research and Variety Evaluation.
The travelling exhibition reveals the thematic diversity of Latvia’s research environment and the contribution of institutes to the country’s development. By scanning the QR codes, anyone interested will be able to watch all 12 video stories on the researchLatvia YouTube channel.
