Malnava College

LBTU Malnava College is a centre for vocational education and knowledge that strengthens regional development by providing practice-based education in agriculture, automotive service technologies, woodworking and tourism. The college combines education with applied research. Here, traditional knowledge meets modern technologies and practical solutions.

Researchers’ Night 2026 at Malnava College

Visitors are invited to explore through hands-on activities, discuss through listening and draw conclusions through analysis. A wide range of activities will allow everyone to choose what suits them best – interactive sessions, laboratory tours, technology demonstrations and practical experiments introducing applied research. In the Crop Production Laboratory, visitors will learn about the processes involved in growing and studying field crops. Practical activities will include seed analysis, grain quality assessment and exploration of the factors that influence plant development and yields.

In the experimental greenhouse, visitors will discover how plant-growing conditions are studied and improved. They will be able to explore plant development, carry out a practical sowing experiment and understand the importance of environmental conditions throughout the plant life cycle. In the Agricultural Machinery Laboratory, visitors will learn about modern agricultural technologies and their role in precision farming.
