Transport and Telecommunication Institute

The Transport and Telecommunication Institute is a modern and innovative private higher education institution offering 18 study programmes, with 21 laboratories, more than 25 robots and the iDEAHUB business incubator, where education meets science and industry.

TSI invites everyone interested to the Night of Scientists – an annual event that takes place all over Europe! 

During the event, you will have the opportunity to get to know the latest innovations in the field of science in an interactive and exciting way.

Event Programme

• How do robots see and move? Meet the humanoid robot NAO and a collaborative robot, and discover the essence of artificial intelligence – how machines learn, communicate and make decisions.
• How does an idea become an invention? Explore projects created by TSI students and discover the essence of innovation, which is based on curiosity, testing and continuous improvement.
• Can an ordinary bench become intelligent? Find the smart bench on the TSI premises, talk to it and learn more about the world of technology, sensors and data.
• Where does science come to life? Visit TSI laboratories, the Robotics Centre, the 3D Metal Printing Laboratory and the Aviation Centre, and see scientific equipment in action.
• Can human intuition outperform an algorithm? Challenge a robot to a game of chess and discover the essence of logic, strategy and machine decision-making.
• Why do aeroplanes fly? Try the aviation simulator and discover the principles of flight while learning about the importance of speed and balance.
• What science lies behind video games? Visit the gaming zone and discover the secrets of programming, graphics and physics.

School groups will be divided into groups of approximately 20 people. Visiting hours for school groups: from 16.00 to 21.00.
