BioPhoT Industry Day 2026

Companies operating in biomedicine, medical technologies, pharmaceuticals, photonics, smart materials, technologies, and engineering systems, as well as industry associations and clusters, representatives of academic and research organizations, policymakers, investors, and innovation support organizations, are invited to BioPhoT Industry Day 2026, which will take place on 26 January 2026 at the House of Science of the University of Latvia, Jelgavas Street 3, Riga.

The aim of the event is to promote closer collaboration between science and industry by strengthening the thematic areas of BioPhoT and creating a favorable environment for the development of new collaborative projects, technological solutions, and innovative ideas. The event will provide an opportunity to meet industry professionals and to learn about current research, solutions, and collaboration opportunities.

Planned Program:

• Part 1 will focus on inspiring collaboration between industry and the research sector, featuring keynote presentations and a roundtable discussion on successful cooperation between industry and academia.
• Part 2 will be a networking and team-building session, divided into several thematic sessions where companies will present their challenges and researchers will present their technologies, with the aim of forming new innovation project proposals for BioPhoT platform funding.
