December 10, 2025
A research team from the University of Latvia, led by Assoc. Prof. Signe Mežinska, continues its participation in the international TRUSTParency project. This EU Horizon Europe–funded initiative will, over three years, promote transparency and reproducibility in science across different research disciplines.
Together with leading European universities and other partners, the University of Latvia researchers are developing solutions, training materials, and best practice examples to foster a trustworthy and open research environment.

The cooperation between the BBMRI.LV partners is coordinated by the Latvian Biomedical Research and Study Centre, which implements project No. 1.1.1.5/3/24/I/006 “Development of Latvia’s research potential by strengthening the integration of the Latvian Biomedical Research and Study Centre into European infrastructures and scientific networks.”
One of the project’s activities focuses on achieving the performance indicators of the Latvian National Partnership Plan for the Biobanking and Biomolecular Resources Research Infrastructure (BBMRI-ERIC), where communication plays a significant role. The implementation of such projects contributes to raising the visibility of BBMRI.LV.
