About event

On November 13, the European Space Agency (ESA) Business Incubation Centre will be launched in Latvia!

Its goals are to:

  • create and develop space technology driven startups,
  • promote the progress of the space industry in Latvia,
  • facilitate the transfer of space technologies into Latvia’s fields of smart specialization (RIS3) and their respective research areas, such as robotics, materials science, electronics, food and healthcare, environmental technologies, and more.

In collaboration with ESA, this program will offer companies the opportunity to receive funding, expertise, and unique access to a global network driving the future of space innovation.

The Business Incubation Centre opening will take place at the Riga Technical University Science and Innovation Centre on November 13, from 16:00 to 19:00. The event will feature a panel discussion with space industry experts, entrepreneurs, and policymakers from across the Baltics.
