Opening ceremony of the monograph “Research of Demography and Migration Processes for the Development of a Knowledge Society in Latvia”

We invite you to the opening ceremony of the monograph “Research of Demography and Migration Processes for the Development of a Knowledge Society in Latvia”, which will take place on June 17, 2026 at 15:00 at the University of Latvia House of Nature, Auditorium 702 (Jelgavas Street 1, Riga).

The monograph has been produced within the framework of the State Research Programme “Letonika for the Development of a Latvian and European Society” project “New Solutions in the Research of Demography and Migration Processes for the Development of a Latvian and European Knowledge Society”, led by Professor Zaiga Krišjāne of the Department of Geography of the Faculty of Geography and Earth Sciences.

During the event, participants will have the opportunity to learn about the main conclusions of the monograph, discuss the significance of demographic and migration processes for Latvia’s development, as well as meet the publication’s authors and project participants.
