As part of the BioPhoT project, a practical two-day seminar “Intellectual Property – from Idea to Patent and Beyond” will be held at the Latvian State Institute of Wood Chemistry on June 9-10.

The seminar will provide valuable insight into intellectual property protection and patenting of inventions — essential knowledge for researchers planning to develop and commercialise their ideas.

During the seminar, you will:
  • You will learn how to evaluate the potential of an invention from an intellectual property perspective;
  • You will gain clarity about the different types of intellectual property and authorship issues;
  • You will get to know patenting strategies, procedures and practical nuances in detail.
