SHARE Baltic Sea Region Conference

On 3 November 2026, Riga will host the SHARE Baltic Sea Region Conference, bringing together researchers, doctoral students, and experts from the Baltic and Nordic countries to exchange knowledge and present the latest research on health, ageing, and retirement based on data from the Survey of Health, Ageing and Retirement in Europe (SHARE). The conference particularly welcomes Latvian researchers, doctoral students, and students who are interested in developing their skills in the use of internationally recognised datasets and building new research collaborations.

The programme will include scientific presentations, discussions, and knowledge exchange on topics related to health, ageing, and retirement. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about the latest SHARE-based research findings and explore innovative approaches to using SHARE data in scientific research.

The event is organised within the framework of the project “RSU Participation in the Horizon Europe Programme” (Project No. 1.1.1.5/3/25/I/014), one of whose objectives is to inform and educate researchers about opportunities to use SHARE data in research.
