VUAS Travelling Exibition "Research Latvia 2025"

About event
Throughout the year, the traveling exhibition "Research Latvia 2025", organized by the Ministry of Education and Science, will be showcased at higher education institutions as well as other public and cultural venues across Latvia.
Complementing each other, the calendar “Science for Latvia 2025” brings together 12 leading scientific institutions in Latvia. Their outstanding research achievements confirm the significant role of our country both in the European Research Area and in the global scientific arena. Both within the framework of the Kurzeme Business Forum and in June, the contribution of Ventspils University of Applied Sciences (VUAS) to research and its importance in the development of science are particularly highlighted.
“The greatest satisfaction in research comes to me when I see that my persistent daily work culminates in the publication of an article, the creation of a new project idea, the implementation of successful collaboration, and the successful transfer of knowledge to students,” says Mg. sc. comp. Karina Šķirmante, leading researcher at the VUAS Ventspils International Radio Astronomy Centre, doctoral student.
By scanning QR codes, visitors can watch 12 video stories featuring the researchers via "researchLatvia" YouTube channel.
The science calendar and travelling exhibition is prepared within the project No. 1.1.1.1/1/24/I/001 “More Efficient Implementation and Management of Latvia's Science Policy”.
