Workshop "Colours and Life in The Universe"

If you are a student or young scientist interested in learning the secrets of the Universe, join the workshop "Colours and Life in The Universe" from 18 to 21 September in Riga, at the Science House and Baldone Observatory!

This is an opportunity to learn more about the vast information hidden in the diverse spectra of objects, both in our neighbourhood – the Sun, the Moon, planets, asteroids – and in distant stars and galaxies. In addition, you will have the opportunity to make your observations with various telescopes (even with the large Baldone Schmidt Telescope), learn to analyse spectroscopic data and find signs of life in them, as well as work in a team to develop and present your project.
