World Latvian Economics and Innovations Forum

About event
On July 10, the ninth World Latvian Economics and Innovations Forum (WLEIF 2025) will take place at the National Library of Latvia in Riga. Since 2013, the Forum has become an important gathering place for business-minded Latvians from around the world. WLEIF aims to promote Latvia's economic growth by strengthening cooperation between professionals working in different business sectors in Latvia and worldwide, and to attract innovation, finance and knowledge capital to Latvia.
This year, around 70 speakers will take to the four stages of the Forum, delivering insightful presentations and participating in discussions. They will focus on topics important for Latvia's economic development, including security and defence, energy, technology, medicine, and talent development. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about developments in these areas, the innovations that have been created, as well as the outlook for the future.
WLEIF is organised by the World Federation of Free Latvians and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Latvia, in cooperation with the communication agency ERDA.
The event is financially supported by the Investment and Development Agency of Latvia, the State Employment Agency of Latvia and Riga City Council. The event will be held in English, and participation is free of charge. More information and registration: www.pleif.lv.
