The catalogue aims to strengthen the participation of Latvian research and innovation organisations in international research consortia by facilitating the identification of potential collaboration partners and the establishment of new partnerships, particularly within the framework of the European Union’s research and innovation programme Horizon Europe.
The catalogue includes 120 team profiles, representing universities, research institutes, companies, non-governmental organisations, and other organisations within the research and innovation ecosystem.
It covers a broad range of research and innovation fields, including health and biomedicine, digital technologies and cybersecurity, advanced materials, climate and environment, agriculture and the bioeconomy, as well as the social sciences and humanities.
Each team profile provides structured information on:
- research expertise and potential contributions to international projects;
- experience in implementing research and innovation projects;
- available research infrastructure and technological capabilities;
- preferred collaboration partners and areas of cooperation;
- interest in specific thematic areas of the Horizon Europe programme;
- contact information for direct communication with research teams.
To facilitate the search for collaboration partners, the catalogue also includes a thematic index at the end, enabling users to identify teams according to the thematic areas of the Horizon Europe programme. The digital version features interactive links that provide convenient navigation between the index and the team profiles.
The Latvian Council of Science (LCS) invites researchers, companies, project coordinators, and other interested organisations to explore the catalogue, use it to identify new collaboration opportunities, and share it within their international cooperation networks.
