The OpenEU Alliance invites doctoral students studying at OpenEU universities to apply for participation in free online courses.

- Online Teaching Methods & Material Production – offered by Hellenic Open University (HOU)
- AI in Everyday Life – offered by Open University of Cyprus (OUC)
- MaxQDA for Qualitative Data Analysis – offered by Universidade Aberta (UAb)
- Oral Presentation Skills – offered by St. Cyril and St. Methodius University of Veliko Tarnovo (UVT)
- Scientific Writing Skills – offered by Daugavpils University (DU)
- Bibliographic Reference Management – offered by Open University of Cyprus (UOC)

Selection Criteria
To apply for the courses, applicants must:
- submit a motivation letter describing their research goals and interests, motivation, and suitability for the selected course;
- submit a CV outlining their education, research experience, and other relevant information;
- submit a fully completed application indicating their course preferences by the specified deadline.
Applications will be evaluated by a committee of representatives from OpenEU partner institutions, coordinated by the Work Package 4 Board.
Selection will take into account:
- the applicant’s research interests, skills, and suitability for the selected course;
- balanced representation of participants across partner institutions, progress in doctoral studies, gender, and other balance criteria.
Application Procedure
Doctoral students must complete the application form by 28 September 2026.
Selected candidates will be informed by 7 October 2026.
