The educational quiz game "STEM Up!" is designed to stimulate curiosity and develop skills in the fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).

"Our goal was to create a product that would help young people learn through play. "STEM Up!" inspires not only to learn more, but also to think more broadly and collaborate. Acquiring STEM knowledge already at school strengthens young people's ability to learn and promotes competitiveness in acquiring future professions," says Tatjana Bonda, a representative of "Navigate the Future", the publisher of the game "STEM Up!"

Systematically explores six different STEM fields

"STEM Up!" includes quiz-style questions in six areas: mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, Earth and the Universe, information technology and robotics. This approach allows players to systematically explore different branches of science and technology.

The game has been developed in collaboration with educators and game designers. It offers a dynamic and age-appropriate gaming experience, especially suitable for teenagers from 14 years of age, but will also be engaging for families and adults. The game questions have been verified by industry experts, thus strengthening its educational value and content accuracy. The game is available in Latvian, English and Lithuanian, making it especially suitable for bilingual families and schools.

The game was created with the support of LIAA

SIA "Navigate the Future" is a participant in the Business Incubation Program of the Latvian Investment and Development Agency (LIAA).

"This company is a case where, looking back on their achievements, we can see that teamwork, creativity and perseverance are the basis for a great result. In this case – from the initial prototype to the developed educational board game and quiz game "STEM Up!", which is already available in stores, and new products are being developed in parallel," says Natālija Siliņa, Head of the Innovation Services Division of the Export and Innovation Services Department of LIAA.

She adds: "LIAA supports innovative, export-capable and socially significant companies. We are proud of "Navigate the Future" and their achievements in the first year of incubation, and look forward to their future successes."

The company is already working on its next product – an educational and future career-oriented board game, “Exoplanet Escape”, which is planned to be offered to buyers in September. The game will be about futuristic professions, future skills and career choices in a changing world. The next version of the game is planned to be released in English, Estonian and Finnish to distribute it in the Nordic markets.
